Adding a writer on monetunes is quick and easy. All we really need is the Writer’s first and last name, and the middle name if applicable. However, if the writer is outside of your team and is not directly represented by you or your team, you can add their email.
This way, any time that you’ll register a Work that involves them, they’ll receive an email from us notifying them of the Work registration - so that they could either create a new account and collect their shares or accept the invite and register their shares if they already have an account.
Additionally, you can also add PRO information of each writer, for example if you or your collaborators are signed up with ASCAP, BMI or any other collection society. This allows us to sync your work registrations with your PRO account so that you don’t have to register Works twice but only once on monetunes, and we’ll take care of syncing them with your PRO.
That’s all! You can now choose those writers during your Works registrations.
