That’s a great question! We are fundamentally different from a publisher. First of all, you don't transfer any ownership of your songs to us, but instead just authorise us to claim any money due to you on your behalf. Secondly, publishing agreements usually last 5 or 10+ years, while we only collect royalties for a cycle of 4 royalty statements, after which you can decide to keep your works on the platform or leave, no strings attached.

What we have in common with a publisher, though, is that we are also going to actively look for sync placement and song placement opportunities. We don't have any hidden fees, nor do we interfere with any royalties that you are already collecting through your label(s) or distributor(s).

There's also more, but essentially you would reap all the benefits of working with a publisher without all the headaches of working with one.
